BIO
Charles O’Brien (b. 1999, West Yorkshire) is a London-based artist working across poetry, video, installation, and multi-sensory media. His current practice abstracts formative experiences and social memories into semi-fictional narratives, using creative reconstruction to examine alienation, absurdity, and unrealised sexual identity. By reshaping surreal, sometimes grotesque experiences, O’Brien creates immersive works that explore intersections between desire, appetite, memory, and the social shaping of selfhood.
